Butterflies at Clinton Lake IL

The Monarch Butterflies are getting ready to migrate to Mexico. There were many examples to see in the 
wildflowers around the campground. Unfortunately 
for me, the photographer, they do not sit still too long and getting that perfect shot is tough to do.

This may not be a Monarch,, but it was very much in evidence in the area.

Actually, this is not a butterfly and neither is it at Clinton Lake!  It is a Barn Swallow and it was sitting on a wire at Laura and Rob's home in Waynesville IL.
