Canyon Lake AZ

Canyon Lake is one of a series of man made lakes on the Salt River northeast of Phoenix. We took a picnic lunch and visited the area with Dottie and Bill Bogart, Gus and Barb Feenstra  and Freddie and Kim Siebertz.

American Coot.  A diving bird, with "normal" bird-like feet, not webbed as with ducks.   

 

 

Unidentified #2.  I will get the Western Audobon Field Guide and see if I can solve the mysteries.
